TonyEmcee: Welcome to the Tony Awards

Big ups to TonyEmcee and wish him a happy birthday! I personally am impressed with his music and style, and hope to hear great things from him in the near future. Maybe you would hear a collab with my group, The Lower Class Citizens, who knows? NYC open your ears and let your minds drift off onto this lyrical journey.
TonyEmcee was born in the Town Of Kings (Kingston,JA) but raised in Kings County (Brooklyn,NY) ever since he was two years old. TonyEmcee (Anthony Stephenson 24) is as dynamic as any of the great young rappers in the game today. Armed with great lyrical versatility and superb character, TonyEmcee has recorded in some of Americas grittiest cities; including Boston,MA ,Chicago,IL, Trenton,NJ, and of course his hometown Brooklyn,NY (Brownsville), since he was 20 years old. Now at the age of 24 and back residing permanently in Brooklyn, TonyEmcee is embarking on his greatest push to bring his brand of music to the Hip Hop masses.
With his outstanding determination , amazing lyrical talent, and uncanny ability to make songs straight from his heart but sharpened with his clever intellect, TonyEmcee is destined to make not only a name in this over saturated music industry but also a great impact in Hip Hop history itself. I have checked out his music and I am impressed with the content as well as his dedication and determination. Check out his mix tape, The tony Awards (Download link Below.)

A word from Anthony: "I plan on dropping my second official mix tape "Tony's Pizza (Mind)" with all original beats late summer of this year. I'm planning on doing many visuals for this project, the first of which is a video for my single "Up Early" which will serve as a promotional video for the project itself. It should be out the end of may. I'm also dropping the same day, a mix tape compilation of all of my greatest freestyles i have recorded over the years to get people fully caught up. It should be a very good year."
You can also check out two new freestyles he has posted on youtube.

XXL Freshman: Most notable?

We all know how XXL presents a list of the best "Freshman" rappers to come out each year. The list is out, the cypher videos are out, who is your favorite? Who is the most notable?
My choice is Macklemore. I have been listening to his tracks for the past few months and I really enjoy his tracks. "Otherside" remix x Ryan Lewis and Fences by far is one of my favorite songs from this new generation of music. I am not that much of a fan of the XXL Freshman lists, but it's always refreshing hearing new artists.
